In ancient Turkey, you will have the opportunity to visit four of the seven churches mentioned in the Book of Revelations, explore the ancient bazaar of Istanbul, and investigate a sultan's palace. St Paul spent three years in Ephesus and traveled extensively up and down the western coast of Turkey planting churches.

The Seven churches from the Book of Revelation in the New Testament, the home of the Apostle Paul, Mary the mother of Jesus last years were here, the final years of John the Disciple, the ancient city of Byzantium-Constantinople-Istanbul, and much more are all here. Turkey is one of the most fascinating countries in the world. Filled with ancient Greek and Roman history, Turkey is a marvel to explore.

The Palace of the Sultan, the Temple of Artemis, the Library of Celsus, and the fabulous Grand Bazaar are sites you'll experience firsthand.
Emperor Constantine made this region the capital of the Roman Empire.

You will fly from the USA to Athens, Greece. After a brief day in Athens, you will take an overnight cruise from the Port of Piraeus, Greece to the island of Chios, home of Homer. From Chios you will travel to ancient Smyrna, then on to Ephesus. After 2 days exploring the ancient cities of Revelations, you will depart for Istanbul, Turkey's historic capital.

Phenomenal sites in Istanbul you'll explore are the Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, the Mosque of the Blue Dome, the Grand Bazaar, and more.
​
On the final day of the trip, you will depart with the 3-week trippers for a return to the USA.
